Modesty

I dont practice modesty because it makes *me* holy. God knows the condition of my heart despite my long skirt. I practice modesty to glorify God and make *others* holy. I dont want to tempt my brothers, dont want to defraud them. I dont want to deceptively advertise something I m not willing to sell or give away.

 

If God thought it important to distinguish male and female so do I. God is wise, he decided to place us in certain roles, to make a distinction in the genders. I worship my creator by studying, considering and happily conforming to the role God thought best for me. Modesty and femininity is to make much of God first then others. It is the fruit of my submission to God. Doesnt make me Holy. It celebrates HIS holiness and promotes holiness in others.
